(Horizons)
This was a tough one. I would want all 3 to return, but if I could only pick one, it would be Horizons. Probably because it stirred my emotions and imagination more so than the others. Scene for scene, it was packed with extremely detailed sets. It gave a good feeling of what the future could be, instead of the cynical, full of fear place, which has become too much a part of life today. I remember, at one point in the ride, where I could push one of 3 buttons to simulate either flying through outerspace, underwater, or something else. The interaction part, there, was ahead of it's time. There was nothing so terrible about this Attraction that should have forced it to be demolished. Space is in abundance in Florida. Mission: Space could have coexisted with Horizons. Boohoo to the current regime who seem to have fallen out of touch with Attractions like Horizons. This Attraction represents everything positive that the world can be, and what Disney was, and still, could be.
Journey Into Imagination, and World of Motion were such "good feel" Attractions as well, packed with imaginative sets, hummable music, and I'll never forget for as long as I live the "nighttime" futuristic city portion at the end of World of Motion with the dramatic music that, really, gave me goose bumps.

The new Journey to Your Imagination is not nearly as good as the origional attraction. I could not believe my dissappointment! Hasn't Disney ever heard "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Though I must vote equally for ALL the other choices! All the listed attractions should have been updated NOT REMOVED! There is so much space at EPCOT; there is plenty of room to add new attractions while enhancing AND KEEPING! the classic attractions! Many of those origional EPCOT attractions were the last projects of many of Walt Disney's hand picked imagineers, the same designers who brought us Disneyland in Anaheim as well as Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland.

Figment is my favorite and I was very disapointed in the new ride.

I never got to exeperience this attraction. When I went to WDW in Feb of '95 (first and only time so far) it was closed.

Because it's replacement bites! JIYI is the only Disney park attraction I ever wanted to get out of before the end of my first visit.

Because it was one of my favourite rides in EPCOT, it was so original because you could choose your own film at the end!

Horizons was actually a look into the future, and the special effects were impressive. The chance to choose the ending of the ride was great. Horizons represented the Future World theme better than any other attraction - hope that Space can measure up.

All were quintessential Disney attractions that merely needed some updating, NOT removal. I think the Disney Company was foolish to completely remove these attractions. EPCOT is indeed less for their absence.

Well...it's mostly b/c I am one of those "Traditionalists". I always liked the fact that this was an extension of the Carousel of Progress family. I also am no fan of the THRILL RIDE --- I always likes the DISNEY-STYLE attraction (which is why I would ALSO vote for World of Motion AND the original Journey into Imagination too!!!!!!)

It was the first ride I had ever been in with my family together and it just sparks all kinds of beautiful moments...

The new version is not as good. The old version had a special magic to it.

Horizons, by far, best exemplified the meaning of Future World. It was the only attraction that was committed solely to the FUTURE! Everything about this ride was impressive, from the gem shaped structure, to the unique ride vehicles, to the look at futures past, the Omnisphere, the many scenes of possible future habitats (especially Space!), to the incredible finale that riders got to choose, Horizons was a one of kind E-Ticket attraction. The beautiful & exciting musical score was also one of the attractions definite high points.
We also miss World of Motion and Journey into Imagination as well.
Both were great family experiences and showcased wonderful Audio-Animatronic characters. All 3 attractions are deeply missed. EPCOT CENTER will never be the same again!

I really don't remember it all that much, but I do remember that it was a lot of fun. It was more educational if anything else and I enjoy those types of rides. This is why I ride Spaceship Earth over and over.

I never saw it, but I know a lot of people are griping about it being gone. I heard it was really good, and never should have been remodeled.

This is a hard one -- but the travesty they made of Journey Into Imagination demands correction. As I look back, I remeber what a beautiful attraction it really was -- visually, thematically, muscially -- and then I think about what we have now. With the great new technology, think of all the wonderful things they could have done to update the old show and retain the characters we have grown to love!

I loved this attraction. It was Walt Disney's dream to have a sequel to the Carousel of Progress. This is it

This was my favorite EPCOT attraction - as well as being the favorite of my mother and sister, too. To me, Figment is somewhat of a mascot for EPCOT. While I have not been on the "new" version, I was saddened to hear it frequently described as more of an assault upon one's senses than the fun, cute attraction I knew it as.

World of Motions was great. I liked it so much. All the animatronics that were inside were great. I can't forget the scene of the beginning of the century accident... Wow! It was so detailled. I still remember the pig on the head of a man in the mud. I was laughing all the time when I saw this. Test Track is very good but I wish World of Motion can be re-designed somewhere else.
As for Horizons and the original Journey into Imagination, they were so great too. Too bad, these 3 great attractions are now gone... Oh well, we call that Progress...

I would have said the original Jouney Into Imagination, but some of my favorite things (like Figment) should be returning in the version of the ride. I would love to see It's Fun to Be Free come back. I love Test Track though. I wish we could have both.

I loved Horizons, but my heart is with Figment. The first time I rode JII in '83 I fell in love with him and the ride. When I took my 2 year old daughter, we rode it 5 times. This past summmer on our visit she was 6 and hated JIYI. I'm not sure we'll even ride it next year on our trip!!

The new one, Journey Into Your Imagination, is a complete waste of time and money on Disney's part. No sign of Pixie Dust any where! Boo! It just stinks! P-U!
