Commenting on the announcement, BVWHE President Bob Chapek stated, "Blu-ray is quickly becoming the high-definition standard on the market today and we are very pleased to add this amazing slate of Blu-ray releases that will appeal to our core demographic. With the dual-layer, 50GB discs, the possibilities for exciting new interactive features and additional bonus content are endless."
The company has already had tremendous success with the first generation of Blu-ray Disc titles such as Eight Below and Dinosaur, and is releasing most new titles on the new dual-layer Blu-ray Discs that features a massive storage capacity of 50GB, enabling the highest caliber encodes, expanded bonus material and exciting new interactive features.
As part of its worldwide release strategy BVWHE will release Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest in all territories May '07 and Con Air, Crimson Tide and The Rock in all territories beginning June '07. Cars will also see a worldwide rollout schedule in 2007.
In North America, BVWHE will release Chicken Little and Finding Neverland on March 20; King Arthur Director's Cut and G.I. Walt Disney World Christmas Parade on ABC
With the enchantment of the holiday season upon us, Walt Disney World and Disneyland once again invite America to celebrate Christmas morning on the ABC Television Network. Co-hosts Regis Philbin, Kelly Ripa (Live with Regis & Kelly) and Ryan Seacrest (Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2007) will bring the magic of the Disney Parks to viewers nationwide as Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade airs, MONDAY, DECEMBER 25 (10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., ET; 9:00-11:00 a.m., CT, MT, PT; check local listings).
For more than twenty years, families have made the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade part of their Christmas Day television tradition. Following the successful launch of the Wii(TM) video game console from Nintendo, Disney's Chicken Little: Ace in Action, Disney's first self-published Wii video game, is now available. Developed by Avalanche Software, Buena Vista Games' Salt Lake City studio focused on Disney's feature animation properties and family-friendly entertainment, Disney's Chicken Little: Ace in Action harnesses the innovative capabilities of the Wii controls and provides gamers with a unique, humor-filled action game.
Inspired by the "movie within a movie" ending of the box office hit film, "Chicken Little," and featuring the movie's super hero alter-ego characters Ace, Abby and Runt in an outer space adventure to save Earth, Disney's Chicken Little: Ace in Action lets players blast their way through a variety of environments while experiencing new storylines.
"Being part of the largest family entertainment company in the world and having access to a treasure trove of company-owned franchises enables us to continue to bring diverse brands to Nintendo platforms," said Graham Hopper, senior vice president and general manager, Buena Vista Games. Buena Vista Games maintains its commitment to offering a diverse portfolio of games for Nintendo platforms. The company recently announced the formation of Fall Line Studio, a new development studio based in Salt Lake City that will create games for the Wii and Nintendo DS(TM). Buena Vista Games also plans to release two additional Wii titles in the first half of 2007 - Disney's Meet The Robinsons, inspired by the upcoming feature animation film from Walt Disney Pictures; and Pirates of the Caribbean 3, inspired by the upcoming third installment of the blockbuster film franchise.
Disney's Chicken Little: Ace in Action gives fans of last year's hit movie the chance to interact with new characters and environments as they venture through a story that centers around taking on villains, including Foxy Loxy, Goosey Loosey and Sleazel Weasel. The original Chicken Little and his friends Abby, Runt and Fish from the film are featured in cut scenes and provide commentary throughout the adventure. Players will shoot enemies by pointing the Wii Remote at their targets, while also using the Nunchuk to guide their way through the game.
Adam West ("Ace"), Zach Braff ("Chicken Little") and Joan Cusack (original "Abby") reprise their film roles as the voices of their characters. Humorous original cut scenes were written and created by Avalanche Software.
Published by Buena Vista Games, the game is rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and older by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), Disney's Chicken Little: Ace in Action for the Wii is available for a suggested retail price of $39.99. Separate versions of the game for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system and Nintendo DS are also available at retail stores for a suggested retail price of $29.99.

These new costumes come with plump, round foam padding, plush character hoods, booties and mittens. New designs include Mickey, Winnie-the-Pooh, Lumpy and Nemo. Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media's presentation THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE has become the number one top-selling DVD of 2006, it was announced today by Bob Chapek, president of Buena Vista Home Entertainment (BVHE). For console game players, BVG will showcase a broad range of titles including Turok, an FPS game set on a mysterious planet that is based on the Classic Media comic book license; Disney's Chicken Little: Ace in Action, based on the "super hero movie within a movie" of the box office hit film "Chicken Little"; Disney's Meet the Robinsons, inspired by the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures' futuristic computer-animated film; Lumines Plus, the first console extension of the highly popular Lumines puzzle franchise; and Disney's Kim Possible: What's the Switch?, the first console game based on the hit Disney Channel franchise.
For Windows PC users, Desperate Housewives: The Game, based on the award-winning ABC/Touchstone Television series "Desperate Housewives" will be available for game play for the first time.
BVG's strategy for its kids games portfolio is focused on three endeavors in 2006 - the launch of the Disney on the Go brand; new efforts in handheld preschool learning games with the launch of Disney's Little Einsteins for Game Boy ® Advance; and migrating handheld franchise hits to the console for sophisticated gameplay in a family-safe environment with Disney's Kim Possible for PlayStation ®2 computer entertainment system.
BVG will showcase handheld games for all major handheld platforms (the PSP(tm) (PlayStation ®Portable) system, Nintendo DS(tm) and Game Boy Advance). The company's handheld portfolio will include Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, based on the upcoming summer blockbuster movie; Spectrobes, a new original title being developed in Japan; Lumines II, Every Extend Extra and Meteos: Disney Edition, action puzzle games from Q ENTERTAINMENT; and games based on popular Disney Channel properties including "Hannah Montana," "Little Einsteins," "American Dragon," "Phil of the Future," "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," "That's So Raven" and more. Disney's Meet The Robinsons Disney's Meet the Robinsons, based on the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures animated film, is a time-traveling action/adventure game. Players will experience the adventure as Wilbur Robinson, helping him chase the dastardly Bowler Hat Guy and his diabolical robotic hat Doris through multiple timelines in an attempt to thwart their evil plans. The game weaves in and out of the film's plot, expanding the Robinson world and offering an all-new adventure. Wilbur will have a host of gadgets at his disposal as he battles enemies and solves puzzles while pursuing Bowler Hat Guy and trying not to alter the future.

Disney's Chicken Little: Ace in Action Inspired by the "superhero movie within the movie" finale of Walt Disney Pictures' box office hit film "Chicken Little," Disney's Chicken Little: Ace in Action features Ace, the superhero alter ego of Chicken Little, and the Hollywood versions of his misfit band of friends: Runt, Abby and Fish-Out-of-Water. The crew of the intergalactic Battle Barn faces off against Foxy Loxy and her evil Amazonian sidekick, Goosey Loosey, who have an evil plan to take over Earth. Battle evil alien robots through multiple levels across the solar system and combat your foes in one of three distinct game play modes: Ace on foot as a soldier, Runt as the driver of an armored tank, or Abby as the pilot of a spaceship. The original Chicken Little and his friends Abby, Runt and Fish we know from the film are featured in cut scenes throughout the game.

Lumines II Lumines II is the highly anticipated sequel to the extremely addictive puzzle-based video game, Lumines. Gamers control squares made of four smaller block pieces that are dropped into the playing field one at a time to form same-color squares. The vertical "timeline" sweeps across the playing field from left to right and wipes the same-color squares from the playing field. Unmatched blocks pile up, and the game ends when the pile gets to the top of the playing screen. Advance through many action-packed levels, each with its own musical theme and sound effects.

KINGDOM HEARTS II Ships 1.3 Million Units in North America
Square Enix, Inc. (Square Enix), the publisher of Square Enix(TM) interactive entertainment products in North America, and Buena Vista Games, Inc. (BVG), the interactive entertainment arm of The Walt Disney Company announced today that KINGDOM HEARTS(R) II shipped 1.3 million units to North American retailers since its March 28 ship date last week.
The Japanese version of KINGDOM HEARTS II was released on December 22, 2005 and shipped one million units within the first three days. Three months since its release, it has shipped a total of 1.2 million units. Combining this with the North American release, the title has shipped over 2.5 million units in Japan and North America.
Exclusively for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, KINGDOM HEARTS II is the sequel to KINGDOM HEARTS, one of the top ten best-selling PlayStation 2 titles of all time in North America (Source: The NPD Group, Dec. 2005). Since its release in September 2002, the original KINGDOM HEARTS for the PlayStation 2 has shipped more than 2.6 million units in North America to date. Bridging the gap between the original and the sequel, KINGDOM HEARTS: CHAIN OF MEMORIES(TM) followed in December 2004 for the Nintendo(R) Game Boy Advance(R) system. With the successful releases of KINGDOM HEARTS II in Japan and North America, the series total has reached 8.5 million units worldwide and is expected to hit the 10 million unit-mark with the upcoming European release.

KINGDOM HEARTS II follows Sora, Donald, and Goofy on their continuing quest, after the events of KINGDOM HEARTS. Sora is looking for his lost friend Riku, while Donald and Goofy are searching for their missing king. The story begins in Twilight Town, a quiet burg nestled between night and day. Sora and friends are joined by a vibrant new cast of characters, including the king himself. Together, they will encounter countless dangers in worlds both familiar and brand new.
KINGDOM HEARTS II features a new and improved real-time battle system which provides an increased selection of commands, such as performing special attacks and cooperative attacks with members of your party, adding strategy to the gameplay. Players can also perform the "Drive" to transform main character Sora into his various forms, altering his skills and abilities. Examples include the Brave Form, in which Sora absorbs the power of Goofy allowing him to use two Keyblades; the Wisdom Form, in which Sora absorbs the power of Donald allowing him to increase his magic power; and the Master Form, in which Sora absorbs the power of both Donald and Goofy and increases both his attack and magic powers.
