Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Handy Manny are favorites around here. We love to cuddle up on the sofa to watch an episode. We discuss the adventures, dance or imitate the actions on the screen. So we were really excited to receive two new Playhouse Disney dvds --Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Numbers Roundup and Handy Manny: Big Construction Job with the new Mickey Mote.

Tonight "Phineas and Ferb: Summer Belongs to You" a special hour-long presentation of the popular animated series will air on the Disney Channel at 8P / 7PC. If you've not yet given this quirky cartoon a chance tonight's special is a great opportunity to sample the fun. As a fan of the series, it showcases the various show elements that have made it a must see in our home  -- musical numbers, humor, heart, wacky adventures, unrequited love, guest stars and a platypus. In hopes that maybe a few Disney fans who may not be in the series target demographic will give the series a try, I've crafted a basic introduction to the series characters. I hope you enjoy as much as we do.
