Disney Publishing Worldwide announced today its new Disney Comics App for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch is now available on the App Store. Disney Comics gives readers instant access to one of the most extensive collections of comics, short stories and graphic novels ever created, ranging from classic adventures starring Mickey Mouse to brand new comics from Toy Story and Cars 2.

Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers and Darkwing Duck writer Ian Brill will be signing on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 2p. Brill will also be available to sign regular covers and any Darkwing Duck issues.

Disney Publishing Worldwide announced today its Disney Epic Mickey App for viewing Disney Digicomics is now available for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch on the App store. The first Disney Digicomic available in the app is “Tales of Wasteland”, which comprise 6 eight-page short comic stories that take place in Wasteland, an alternate world made up of Disney’s forgotten creative efforts. Users get a preview of Wasteland and feature characters from the upcoming Disney Epic Mickey video game, including Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first cartoon star.

Boom Studios Announces "Darkwing Duck" #1 Sells Out, Goes to Second Printing
BOOM Kids! is proud to announce that DARKWING DUCK #1 has sold out, sending everyone's favorite masked mallard into 2nd printing. BOOM!'s latest smash hit has received tremendous fan support with sales of DARKWING DUCK #3 surpassing the sales of issue #1. DARKWING DUCK #2 is also on the verge of a sell-out and BOOM! is looking into a second printing of issue #2.
