The recently opened Disney Doorway to Dreams offers Roosevelt Field shoppers and New York-area residents a convenient and interactive way to discover the excitement of Disney Vacation Club, an innovative vacation-ownership program that allows families to enjoy flexibility and savings on decades of future vacations.

The latest Disney Vacation Club (DVC) property, Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, has opened its doors. The new resort area includes 60 three-bedroom villa “treehouses,” which are built on pedestals amid forested glens, giving guests great views of surrounding nature.

As part of the Kidani Village expansion of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, diners are treated to a new restaurant - Sanaa. The menu in the 150-seat, family-oriented restaurant reflects the art of African cooking with Indian flavors. Pronounced "Sah-NAH," the restaurant boasts interiors inspired by African art and remarkable views to a savannah of free-roaming animals. Jim Lewis, president of Disney Vacation Club, a growing vacation ownership division of The Walt Disney Company, has been elected Chairman of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), the national trade association representing the vacation ownership industry.

In spring 2009, Disney Vacation Club is planning to open the first phase of Kidani Village at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas to meet ongoing strong demand for its unique vacation-ownership program.

Walt Disney World Resort launched a new Online Check-In Service today, designed to simplify and streamline guest arrivals.  The new service is complimentary and available to guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels and Disney Vacation Club resorts open as of February 2009.
