I sure wish I had a better forecast for you on this very lovely day - but the weather will be far from lovely as I said yesterday as we go into your mid week.

Expect some sun this morning into early afternoon but highs will only get into the low 60s as another disturbance moves in from the north - I can already see this one on satellite and it looks like a rainy hump day with highs not getting out of the 50s.

We clear out and warm up as high pressure builds in on Thursday and Friday but then it looks like some more disturbed weather moves in just in time for the weekend, but we may see some sun on Saturday.  Wow, what a scrooge :-( - sorry!

For each Hidden Mickey you find, you can enter for a chance to win a vacation for four to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, or Disneyland Resort in California. Find a total of 10 Hidden Mickeys and you could add a VIP experience if you win!

Looks like Monday is going to be a bit showery - and I'm talking showery to impact morning and evening rush our commute so allow a little extra time to get where you are going.

Tuesday looks to be a good day though a little cooler than it has been with highs in the low 60s, but the sun should come out.  It looks like Wednesday the next system may be coming in which will bring some showers into the area ... now all of this may be good news for you skiers out there but not great news for those visiting Disneyland.

The party has started here at Disneyland park – New Orleans Bayou Bash! is now “geauxing” on from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. during the following dates:

• February 17, 18, 19, 20, 21
• February 24, 25, 26
• March 2, 3, 4
• March 9, 10, 11

Pam Brandon will soon be giving an update on some of the delicious food guests can expect during the celebration, but in the meantime I wanted to give you a peek at some of the special entertainment that will be featured at New Orleans Bayou Bash!:

• Princess Tiana’s Mardi Gras Celebration – Join Princess Tiana, Louis and Prince Naveen as they make their way through New Orleans Square performing tunes from “The Princess and the Frog.”
• Jambalaya Jazz Band and Royal Street Bachelors at the French Market Stage.
• New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band – Throughout the day, a rousing procession bursts onto the streets of New Orleans Square.

JUST CONFIRMED: In my previous post, many of you asked whether Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen would be available for meet & greet opportunities. You’ll be happy to know that they will be meeting guests at the Court des Anges in New Orleans Square during New Orleans Bayou Bash!

Expect mostly sunny skies today with highs in the low 70s with clouds building in the late afternoon into the early evening.

Lows will get down into the upper 40s but then here comes the rain.  Showers are possible on Saturday into Saturday evening and temperatures will cool down even more so be emotionally prepared for that.

Once the sun comes back out on Sunday it will still be cold (especially compared to the last two weeks) as highs will only be in the low 60s but it will be clear and sunny so what more could you ask for?

The sun will remain so there is the good news for today and tomorrow with highs right around 80 today and in the mid 70s for Friday.  Lows will get down to around 50 tonight but then cool into the 40s by early Saturday morning.

I can't rule out a sprinkle or two but it won't be anything to wash out your Saturday night - that said, have that light coat ready because highs on Sunday will only be in the low 60s and that trend continues right on into next week.

The sun comes out once showers subside Tuesday morning - highs get into the mid 70s and we warm up from there and get towards 80 on Wednesday!

Sun continues through the rest of the week - but temperatures cool down just a bit.  Lows will be right around 50 through the period.

Disneyland Resort today announced that Earl of Sandwich will open a new location at Downtown Disney in early summer 2012. The restaurant will offer guests a unique, casual-quick dining option while visiting Downtown Disney.

Anyway Tuesday will be that day - expect rain developing by the time you leave this morning and that rain could continue right on through the evening rush hour which is always a good time.

Temperatures will only make it into the low 60s with all that cloud cover, but things rebound nicely tomorrow and through the rest of the week.

The sun returns and we are up around 71 for a high on Wednesday and a nice warming trend is on the way - so we'll be up in the upper 70s with plenty of sunshine by Friday.

That said, it shouldn't be a wash out and it will only last about a day - so by the time you get to Wednesday you should be fine.

Tuesday looks a bit rainy but after that the rest of the week looks sunny with highs in the 70s and even upper 70s by the end of the week.

Highs in the low to mid 70s will be the rule through Sunday with a slight cool down early on Monday.  But for the most part expect plenty of sunshine throughout the weekend, with some afternoon clouds a possibility.  Low temperatures don't even look to get below 50 until Monday morning.  That said, if you are visiting Disneyland and have never been there - with the dry conditions - as soon as the sun goes down it gets cool (cold) quick so always have a jacket handy if you aren't used to it.

Temperatures are back up to around 70 today and they only get higher from there as we will top out in the mid 70s Friday and Saturday.

A whole lot of sunshine will be the rule all day long and then we will cool down (quickly as always) into the mid 40s pretty much every day through the weekend.

No news is good news as they say - and that's about as much as I can say about your forecast - there's NOTHING to complain about so get out there and make us all jealous with your sunshine and World of Color :-)!  Until next time!

Walt Disney Imagineers fly to Omaha, Nebraska to work with Larry the Cable Guy, the voice of "Mater" from the movie "Cars," in a voice over session for a new attraction at Cars Land at the Disneyland Resort in Southern California. 

Fog will clear out in the morning and we will have another relatively sunny day with highs in the mid 60s.

The good news is that things just keep getting better and better as we head through the weekend with temperatures getting back into the upper 70s and staying through the weekend (or at least the mid 70s for the long term).

Low temperatures for the period through Saturday will be in the mid 40s.

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly it cools down when the sun goes down out there and once that happens tonight temperatures will once again drop down into the mid 40s.

Kellie Nickerson – looking apropos in her fairy wings and green tutu – flew away from the field to capture the inaugural Tinker Bell Half Marathon at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. Nickerson, who hails from Albuquerque, N.M., captured her first win at Disney in 1:27:52, finishing ahead of Southern Californians Sharon Wilkinson of Winnetka (1:28:18) and Stacy Schafer from Carlsbad (1:28:54).  

Congratulations to everyone who ran the inaugural Tinkerbell half marathon - I hope I see some of you in just FOUR weeks for the Princess down in Walt Disney World!

After a picture perfect blue bird day Thursday with temperatures close to 80 if not 80 in spots ... the hits keep coming.  Expect sun through the weekend with temperatures topping out in the upper 70s and bottoming out in the low 50s to upper 40s.

I could say more - but why bother ... you are just making people jealous anyway!

Great news - Disney will be celebrating the Lunar New Year from January 20-29 with special decor, cultural performances and character meet-and-greet opportunities in front of "it's a small world" at Disneyland park. The celebration will pay tribute to the traditions and family celebrations observed within the Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures, observing the time when the sun and moon begin their journeys for another year.

I'm going to keep this short because there's really not much to say.  Expect sunshine through the weekend with a really warm day tomorrow (low to mid 80s) with a slightly cooler rest of the week into the weekend.  Highs in the upper 70s through Sunday with lows in the upper 40s to even low 50s.

The Official Disney Parks Blog writes Disney is preparing both a romance segment and summer segment of The Magic, The Memories and You shows projected onto Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom and the Small World facade at Disneyland. The romance segment will debut on February 1.

I wish I had something more exciting to say - but why would you want me to?

A cool down can be expected early next week - so enjoy this glimpse of summer while it lasts :-)!

Highs today will top out right around 70 but we may jump close to 10 degrees when we are talking about highs for Wednesday (and yes that means we are talking about highs close to 80).  Originally some models were indicating we may get into the mid 80s by Thursday but now it looks like highs should stay somewhere between the mid and upper 70s through the start of the weekend.

Lows will continue to drop into the mid to upper 40s for the next few evenings. 

The extended forecast is keeping things nice right through the start of next week so let's keep our fingers crossed shall we?!

The Official Disney Parks Blog interviews Lesley Ann Warren who recently visited Disneyland. Costume sketches from the 1967 Disney film, “The Happiest Millionaire,” in which she made her motion picture debut, have been added to the art collection on display inside Club 33 and they arranged for her to come take a look and share some of her own special Disney memories.

On Friday, several hundred Disneyland Resort cast members gathered in the courtyard of the reimagined Disneyland Hotel to mark the completion of the historic hotel's multiyear renovation. Final touches to the porte-cochere and tower lobbies were added this month, following more than two years of work by Disney Imagineers and cast members to reinvigorate the hotel into a family destination that pays tribute to the early days of Disneyland. Guests now enjoy completely redesigned guest rooms, a new courtyard, restaurant, bar, pool and water play area, as well as themed suites and a dramatic new look to the exterior of the hotel. Changes have restored and highlighted the hotel’s original midcentury style with sleek, modern amenities. For the first time in 25 years, the Disneyland Hotel earned a coveted 2012 AAA Four Diamond award.

Update: The new guidelines go into effect February 3rd and will allow Cast Members to have facial hair including beards and goatees. Like mustaches, all facial hair must be fully grown in and neatly groomed and no more than a quarter-inch in length.

After a less than stellar weekend, the YUCK continues into the start of the new week.  We will struggle to get out of the 50s and the rain will continue to fall as yet another system rolls in.  Winter weather isn't out of the question as you get up in elevation as well so watch out for that.

As far as visiting Disney goes - how about you wait until Tuesday ... or better yet Wednesday.  Because as bad as things have been the last few days Mother Nature must understand because she's about to do something about it.  A big change is coming and I think you will like it.

Once we get through the rain - the sun looks to return Tuesday with highs in the upper 60s, but then the real fun begins and the rest of the week looks pretty nice.

Sunny skies and highs around 80 are what we are looking at Wednesday and Thursday - so make sure you didn't lose those sunglasses and get ready to carry this HOPEFULLY right on into the next weekend.

You will wake up to fog and then you MAY (slight MAY) see some sunshine before clouds continue to build into the area at which point the showers start and then the rain and then ... well ... Saturday isn't looking so hot either and you know how people drive in the rain.  So if you don't need to be out - don't.

High temperatures today will be somewhere in the low to mid 60s today and the low 60s Saturday.  We may see a break in the bad weather Sunday but I don't want to give you false hope, but you may see some sunshine before MORE rain comes for Monday.

Now let me tell you - it's not all bad news though because as we head into next week things are going to get much better as the sun comes out on Tuesday and temperatures warm up - way up into the mid 70s by the time we get to mid week so stand strong Cali.

Expect high temperatures into the mid 60s today through Friday and then expect showers Saturday and Sunday as it stands now.
