H2O Plus and Disney Parks Extend and Expand Alliance Relationship
As the primary in-room amenities provider for Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line and Disney Vacation Club properties, H2O Plus is pleased to announce the expansion of a multi-year strategic alliance agreement that will extend the H2O Plus presence internationally. Through the new deal, H2O Plus products will now also be available at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Resort Paris and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii. In addition, H2O Plus will sponsor five runDisney races at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts.

KTLA.com reports a man has been arrest for burglary after passing himself off as "Stephen Disney" and stealing Disneyland tickets in a burglary.

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks aren’t the only places to have a monstrous time during thisFriday’s all-nighter at the Disneyland Resort … the Downtown Disney District is also getting in on the fun with extended hours and more. Check it out:

- Downtown Disney District restaurants will be open until 2 a.m. on Saturday, May 25 (excluding ESPN Zone)
- Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express will be open until 3 a.m. on Saturday, May 25
- Special extended hours at ESPN Zone
- The Arena – open until 3 a.m.
- The 19th Hole Bar – alcohol available until 1 a.m.
- Non-alcoholic drinks served until 3 a.m.
- Limited food menu served until 1 a.m.
- “1/2 price” special on all Arena games from 12-3 a.m.
- House of Blues and Tortilla Jo’s will open for breakfast at 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 25
- The following will be open 24 hours on May 24-25

- Planet Popcorn
- Wetzel’s Pretzels

Hundreds of rubber ducks raced around the world for a cause at the 5th annual "it's a small world" duck race! Cast members sponsored and decorated the ducks to raise more than $1,800 for Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire before Disneyland park opened for the day.

Woody's All-American Roundup Coming to Disneyland June 14
From the Official Disney Parks Blog...
Sheriff Woody is bringing his Talent Roundup to the stage of the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree. You’ll delight at the sight of Jessie’s slingshot tricks and Woody’s skill with a lasso. There will even be plenty of dancin’, strummin’ and singin’, thanks to guitar-playin’ cowboy Buckaroo Bob.
Between Talent Roundup shows, everyone’s favorite Billy Hill and the Hillbillies will take the stage in “Red, White and Bluegrass!” You’ll even have a chance to meet Woody, Jessie and Mickey and Minnie Mouse, dressed in their finest cowboy (and cowgirl) duds!
And that’s not all! Woody’s All-American Roundup will feature Rodeo Games, crafts and activities for the whole family and a selection of merchandise and yummy food.
So mosey on down to Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree for Woody’s All-American Roundup, starting June 14. It’s gonna be loads of rootin’, tootin’ fun!

Disneyland Unveils the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend Medal Collection
Today, Disneyland has unveiled the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend collection of medals, including Dumbo Double Dare, Disneyland Half Marathon, Disneyland 10K and Disneyland Family Fun Run 5K. More than 25,000 runners are registered for the race weekend that winds through Disneyland, Disney California Adventure and the streets of Anaheim. Each finisher will receive a specially designed commemorative finisher medal.

Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will kick off a Monstrous Summer by keeping three theme parks open for 24 hours nonstop on Memorial Day Weekend, the traditional start of the family travel season.
The Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in California will stay open from 6 a.m., May 24 to 6 a.m., May 25, 2013, local time* marking the beginning of a summer of fun inspired by the upcoming Disney•Pixar comedy adventure Monsters University.

Safety Changes for the Disneyland Railroad Detailed
Burnsland.com has a post from Steve DeGaetano (a known Disneyland Railroad expert) detailing some of the changes required by Cal/OSHA (a Californian agency that regulates employee safety) for the Disneyland Railroad. Among the changes is the engineers will no longer be able to use the Frontierland water tower to add water to the steam engine.

Disneyland Voluntarily Keeps Space Mountain and Soarin' Closed Temporarily
The Los Angeles Times has more on the weekend story of Disneyland closing Space Mountain, Soarin' Over California and the Matterhorn following a citation from safety regulators that caused them to review their safety protocols. Matterhorn reopened Sunday but Space Mountain and Soarin' remained closed.

Space Mountain, Soarin and Matterhorn Closed at Disneyland Due to Safety Violations
Multiple online outlets are reporting Space Mountain, Soarin' Over California and the Matterhorn were all closed on Saturday by California's DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health) after inspections revealed safety violations. An important note: DOSH is responsible for overseeing safety of workers and there's no indication the violations were related to guest safety. It's not known how long the attractions will remain closed. DOSH has an online PDF that details the issues with Space Mountain. The details on the other attractions are unknown.

A Star Wars Dual Track Coaster Was the Original Concept For a Star Wars Ride
Jim Hill goes in his wayback machine to the 1980s when Disney first started working on a Star Wars-themed attraction. According to his article, the original idea was a dual track coaster where guests could choose whether they wanted to ride the dark side or ride the way of the Jedi.
