This video is a home-made CGI recreation of the original "Endor Express" movie, featured in Star Tours 1, and for the first time in Stereoscopic 3D !

We have heard that once again John Williams has declined the opportunity to score Star Tours II: The Adventures Continue (Williams was not involved in the original Star Tours or any of the Indiana Jones attractions). Instead Michael Giacchino has been tapped to score the new attraction as he is a fan of the attraction. The signature Star Tours theme will be kept.

While "it's too early to say" was a common response to inquiries about the upcoming Star Tours attraction, Surrell did indicate the ride's timeframe would be place in-between Revenge of the Sith and the original Star Wars, a.k.a. A New Hope.

Earlier today at the Star Wars Celebration V fan event, Star Wars fans caught a first glimpse of a new video that will appear in the queue area of the reimagined Star Tours attraction in Disneyland park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios next year. The video produced by Star Tours is a new “commercial” that shows one of their exciting getaway travel packages.
Star Wars Celebration V convention is coming to Orlando Aug. 12-15 and expects to draw about 25,000 fans. StarWars.com announces author, screenwriter and Walt Disney Imagineer Jason Surrell will take the Behind-The-Scenes Stage with Pablo Hidalgo on Thursday, from 3p - 4p for a look at the creation of Star Tours and Indiana Jones through rare concept art and stunning still photographs. He will also offer an exclusive sneak peek at the new, "reimagineered" Star Tours, set to launch in Spring 2011, and Last Tour to Endor event coming Saturday, August 14.
Disney Parks blog announces the Star Wars Celebration Disney Parks Discussion Panel is scheduled for Friday, August 13th, from 12-1, at the Behind-The-Scenes Stage with Pablo Hidalgo. The panel will focus on Disney Parks' Star Wars merchandise with a sneak peek at upcoming items.

Disney's official fan club D23 has officially announced the Star Tours event written about yesterday in the Los Angeles Times. D23 members will be able get the last ride on Star Tours as they experience the attraction after park hours on July 26th - the final day it's open to the public. Admission is free and tickets become available on July 14th at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. See below for complete details.
