Celebrated Fiesta! at Epcot's Mexico Pavilion All Week Long for Limited Time Magic
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo and Día de los Niños at Epcot's Mexico with "¡Fiesta!"—a week-long celebration honoring the pride of Mexico, the personality of its people and the color of its culture May 5 to 11. Festivities include:
Meet The Three Caballeros
Don't miss a rare opportunity to say "¡Saludos Amigos!" to three of the most famous Latin American lovebirds in history, The Three Caballeros!
Panchito, Jose Carioca and, of course, el Pato Donald are getting the band back together and they're ready to pose for a picture or two—stop by and meet these classic Characters while you have the chance!
Move Your Feet to the Music
Once you've had your fill of The Three Caballeros, get ready to groove to music from south of the border, and maybe even move your feet a little!
First, soak up the spirit of the occasion with an energetic set by delightful marionettes. Then, float through the romanticized beauty of Mexico's history with some folkloric dancing. Finally, work up an appetite with a little dancing of your own, set to the tunes of the world-renowned band, Mariachi Cobre!
Feast on Festive Mexican Eats
Ready for an authentic Mexican food experience? San Angel Inn Restaurante and La Hacienda de San Angel will both be a huge part of the occasion and they're preparing a selection of fiesta-themed offerings to celebrate!
Check out the listings below for the Cinco de Mayo-specific menu, complete with appetizers, entrees and even a dessert!
Appetizers
- Cream of Chile Poblano: Chile poblano, cilantro, onion, garlic and Mexican cream, garnished with tortilla strips, poblano peppers and cream ($7.50)
- Chalupas de Chicharron: Corn dough topped with roasted chipotle sauce, shredded chicken, pork rind in green tomatillo sauce, fresh cheese, sour cream and avocado ($11.50)
Entrees
- Chile en Nogada: Egg-battered stuffed poblano pepper with pork, almonds, raisins, apple, pineapple, cinnamon, roasted tomato and garlic, topped with a walnut cream sauce ($24.50)
- Enchiladas de Mole Poblano: Corn tortillas filled with marinated chicken, topped with mole poblano sauce, sesame seeds and Mexican cream ($23.50)
- Pollo Rostizado en Salsa de Mercado: Slow roasted French-chicken breast, topped with a roasted green tomato, pine nuts, garlic, onion and saffron sauce ($23.50)
Dessert
- Camotes en Leche Condensada: Sweet potato dessert topped condensed milk, garnished with almond brittle ($7.00)
And for something fun to wash it all down with, stop by La Cava where you can sample an assortment of different drinks, including margarita-flavored Horchata and zesty Micheladas.
You can even try the famous "Banderita"—three separate shots that together form the colors of the Mexican flag!

Epcot's 'Where's the Fire?' to Feature a Real Firefighter May 7 and 8
"Where's the Fire?" in Epcot's Innoventions West will give guests the chance to meet a real firefighter from Reedy Creek on May 7 and 8. Their interactive presentation on the importance of fire safety will be held at 11a, 11a, 1p, 2p, 3p and 4p. They'll also have helpful ints on how to be safe in case of an emergency in your home.

Picture: Construction Begins on Starbucks at Epcot
Disney has begun the process of converting the Fountain View Cafe at Epcot into a Starbucks. Construction on the Magic Kingdom Starbucks is also underway and the location has already opened at Disney California Adventure.

Sleeping Beauty has a new look at Walt Disney World. Here's a picture taken at Epcot along with another picture showing her previous outfit. Sleeping Beauty makes appearances in Epcot's France Pavilion and the Main Street's Town Square Theater.

New Ice Cream and Sorbet Shop to Open in Epcot's France Pavilion mid-June
L’Artisan des Glaces, an artisan ice cream and sorbet shop, debuts at the France pavilion in Epcot in mid-June. You’ll want multiple scoops of the 16 yummy flavors, all made in-house with fresh ingredients. For grown-up tastes, ask for a shot of liquor on top – served in a martini glass.

Pictures: Construction Begins on New Restaurant in Epcot's Morocco
Last week the Official Disney Parks Blog announced a new waterfront restaurant called "Spice Road Table" would be opening at Epcot by the end of the year. Construction has already begun, here are a few pics taken earlier this week. They show that the stage for the Morocco musicians (Mo'Rockin) has been moved over to accomodate, and the shop has been moved into one of the dining areas of the Tangerine Grill.

New Waterfront "Spice Road Table" Restaurant Coming to the Morocco Pavilion at Epcot

Look for a new waterfront eatery by the end of this year at the Morocco Pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot. Spice Road Table will feature various small plates and refreshments inspired by the cuisine of the Mediterranean. With seating both indoors and out, it’s a welcome addition to the line-up along World Showcase Lagoon.

Festive Fun at Magic Kingdom Park
Things get hoppin' at Magic Kingdom park when Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny arrive! Visit Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A. for a fun photo op with the floppy-eared couple.
Be sure to watch for a special springtime procession starring Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny—as well as butterflies, other bunnies, flowers and dancing hippos—just before daily performances of the Celebrate a Dream Come True parade.
Engaging Activities at Epcot

Magic Bands on Display at Epcot's Annual Passholder Ticket Exchange
Starting today Annual Passholders can go to Odyssey at Epcot to exchange their current Annual Pass for a Radio Frequency (RF) enabled pass. Inside the exchange center are several displays including some on MyMagic+ and this one below showing some of the Magic Bands that will be available:

Disney Character Egg Hunt is the Next Limited Time Magic Event
From the Official Disney Parks Blog...
For one week only, from March 18-24, you’ll be able to search for special hidden “eggs” themed to Disney characters at Epcot and at Disney California Adventure park and then record your discoveries on specially themed Eggs-perience park maps.
At Epcot, maps can be purchased at the Heritage Manor in the American Adventure Pavilion, International Gateway, Pin Central and Port of Entry.

Re-Discovering America: Family Treasures from the Kinsey Collection Now Open at Epcot
“Re-Discovering America: Family Treasures from the Kinsey Collection,” which opened March 8, draws from an extensive collection of rare art, documents, books and artifacts amassed by philanthropists Bernard and Shirley Kinsey, who share a passion for African-American history. Their private collection has been displayed throughout the U.S., including in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Approximately 40 pieces will be on display for Epcot guests at any given time on a rotating basis during the exhibit run.

IBM THINK Exhibit Opens at Innoventions at Epcot

Although the 2013 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival officially opens Wednesday, March 6, one new garden has appeared a little early. The Land of Oz Garden is open now and at almost a third of an acre, it's the largest garden ever created for the festival. The area is based on the new Disney film, "Oz The Great and Powerful," which stars James Franco, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz and Mila Kunis, and opens March 8.
