Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates Announced; Tickets on Sale
Tickets are now available for the 2013 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the after-hours event at the Magic Kingdom with a special parade, fireworks, candy and more.Here are this year's dates:
- September: 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27, 29
- October: 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31
- November: 1
Prices range from $59 to $73 for adults and $54 to $68 for children depending on the date.

Disney has announced it will crown Merida as it's 11th official Disney princess joining...

The ceremony - a royal coronation - will be held on May 11th at the Magic Kingdom and will be open to the public.

New Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Details from Today's Media Event
Today, Walt Disney World begins its Monstrous Summer media event. A part of that is a peek behind the walls of construction at the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Unfortunately, photography wasn't allowed, but there were three Imagineers on hand to give presentations on both the Mine Train (opening in 2014) and Princess Fairy Tale Hall (opening in 2013). Below is most of the text of those presentations as well as items learned during the Question and Answer sessions.

Festive Fun at Magic Kingdom Park
Things get hoppin' at Magic Kingdom park when Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny arrive! Visit Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A. for a fun photo op with the floppy-eared couple.
Be sure to watch for a special springtime procession starring Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny—as well as butterflies, other bunnies, flowers and dancing hippos—just before daily performances of the Celebrate a Dream Come True parade.
Engaging Activities at Epcot
When Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny hop over to Epcot, they'll host exciting activities in the United Kingdom pavilion. Here, kids can meet the friendly duo, pose for photos, hunt for Easter eggs and participate in relay races.
Throughout the park, spring is in bloom. Venture to Future World East for another fun-filled Easter egg hunt. Along the way, you'll see dazzling topiaries and botanical displays designed for Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

Video: First Look Inside the New Big Thunder Mountain Interactive Queue
In the video, Project Manager Wyatt Winter and Creative Designer Pete Carsillo offer up a behind-the-scenes tour of the new queue, which builds on the attraction’s backstory of Barnabas T. Bullion, founder and president of Big Thunder Mining Company. The storyline of the new area builds the attraction into something that takes guests deeper into the mining days of the Wild West. When the finished queue debuts in a few weeks, guests will be able to explore the mountain’s Mining Office, the Explosives Magazine Room, and maybe even get a little hands-on by doing some of the miners’ activities.

Valentines Renew Their Love at the Magic Kingdom on Thursday
(Feb. 14, 2013) — Dozens of couples came together on Thursday to renew their love amidst colorful fanfare in front of Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort. Cinderella and Prince Charming, Aurora and Prince Philip and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse joined in the ceremony hosted by the Major Domo. This one day ceremony is just one of the experiences planned during True Love Week taking place through Feb. 17 at Magic Kingdom theme park- all part of Limited Time Magic.
Through Feb. 17, guests can enjoy Cinderella Castle bathed in hues of pink, red, lavender and blue with themed lighting synced to romantic musical melodies. There’s candlelit dinners for two with prix fixe menus at select restaurants during the most romantic week of the year; limited-edition pins, newly-designed apparel and Vinylmation available at select merchandise locations.
Couples can feel the romance at every turn, as banners proclaiming True Love, heart-shaped signage and sweetheart-themed décor adorn Magic Kingdom, plus the rare opportunity to get a photo with Disney Princes as they escort their Princesses to enchanting character greeting locations.
