Disney / Pixar have released a new trailer for Monsters University, hitting theaters in 3D on June 21st. This one appears to have many more plot points than previous trailers, so if you like to go into a movie fresh, beware!

CinemaBlend.com writes on Disney's announcement that the 3D re-release of Monsters, Inc. has been moved from January 2013 to December 2012. The sequel, Monsters University, is still scheduled for release next year.
The Hollywood Reporter writes Disney has revealed the name of the Monsters, Inc. sequel (or rather, prequel) at CinemaCon. The movie will be titled Monsters University. It's scheduled to be released in 2012 and to return the voices of John Goodman and Billy Crystal.

Now through November 8, you can view "The Disney-Pixar Collection" including Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille and Wall-E on demand via your television provider or favorite digital retailer. These films along with Disney-Pixar's UP (which is not currently available on demand), will continue to be offered for download to own. Disney-Pixar also announces Toy Story 3 will be available for digital download beginning November 2.
Coming Soon reports Disney-Pixar have moved the release date for "Monsters Inc 2" to November 2, 2012 from November 16 following the announcement by Summit Entertainment that "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" would open on November 16, 2012. They also report "Newt" has been removed from the schedule.
Oakland North reviews the 25 years of Pixar Exhibit at the Oakland Museum. The exhibit has travelled the globe since its 2005 premiere at MOMA. For the Oakland presentation they have unveiled a new element, an “Artscape” movie -- an immersive experience that "reveals what artists at Pixar saw when they created works displayed in this exhibition,” according to director of the “Artscape,” Andrew Jimenez, “It’s immersive, you go into something and have it surround you.”
Beginning July 31 the Oakland Museum of CA will present PIXAR: 25 Years of Animation, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the development of their popular movies. The exhibit includes all of the artwork from the original presentation at MOMA, plus art from Ratatouille, WALL•E, Up, and Pixar’s latest film, Toy Story 3.
