Building on the global phenomenon that is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Orlando Resort and Warner Bros. Entertainment today announced an expansion of historic proportion with the entirely new themed environment, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley.
Titanic The Experience is hosting an informational session to honor the 101st anniversary of the sinking of the R.M.S. Titanic. Paul Henry (P.H.) Nargeolet, the leading authority on the Titanic wreck site, will be hosting an interactive, entertaining and educational session which will highlight the unveiling of newly released dive footage from Expedition 2010 to Orlando. Nargeolet has led 5 expeditions to the wreck and completed 30 dives in a submersible. He has supervised the recovery of 5,000 artifacts, including the recovery of the “big piece,” a 20-ton section of Titanic’s hull, a portion of which is on display at Titanic The Experience. “Titanic 101” is included with paid admission to Titanic The Experience, but times are limited and advance purchase is recommended.

The biggest Super Hero icons in the world; including Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Avengers, and X-Men unite together in one place to defend the Earth against the threats from the most fearsome villains in the Marvel Universe.
The Moscow Times writes DreamWorks is attempting to own the emerging Russian theme park market by opening 3 theme parks throughout the country in 2015 in Moscow, St. Petersbug and Yekaterinburg.
Santa Claus is visiting Titanic The Experience on International Drive to meet with children and gather their letters to Santa. As Titanic was the Royal Mail Ship (R.M.S.), letters to Santa will easily find their way to the North Pole. Santa and R.M.S. Titanic captain E. J. Smith will be available for photos with children and families on the Grand Staircase.
Guests who bring their personal cameras will be allowed to take a photo with Santa on the Grand Staircase; there will also be an opportunity to purchase photos. Please note that photos will not be allowed in any other gallery.
If unable to meet Santa in person, kids can drop their letters into designated RMS Titanic Letter Boxes located at The Exhibition and at all central Florida Jersey Mike locations now through Christmas Eve. Children expecting a jovial reply from Santa should be sure to include an email address with their letter.

Universal Parks & Resorts and Loews Hotels & Resorts will build a new hotel development at Universal Orlando that will add high-quality, high-value options for families wanting an affordable on-site experience. Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort will offer two distinct experiences within the development’s multiple buildings: 900 family suites, capable of sleeping six, that include kitchen areas and 900 standard guest rooms – offering both moderate- and value-priced accommodations. It will be operated by Loews Hotels & Resorts and is scheduled to open in 2014.

Universal Orlando has set a joint grand opening date for two new spectacularly entertaining guest experiences. The new Universal’s Superstar Parade and Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular: 100 Years of Movie Memories will have their grand opening on May 8. Warner Bros. Entertainment and Universal Parks and Resorts today announced a partnership to bring The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – the enormously popular themed entertainment environment which debuted in Orlando in June 2010 – to Universal Studios Hollywood. The two companies also announced their plans to significantly expand The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort.
The Orlando Sentinel reports Jaws at Universal Studios in Orlando will close permanently on January 2nd to make way for a new attraction. They did not announce what the new attraction would be.
