Tiana coming back to Disneyland

The Los Angeles Times confirms Princess Tiana will be returning to Disneyland for a new show starting in February and also reports she will be joining other princesses at Princess Fantasy Faire starting February 1.

AP: Parents Warned Against Use of Cheap Kids' Jewelry

Disney's The Princess and the Frog Receives NAACP Image Awards Nominations

Disney's "The Princess and the Frog" has been nominated in the Outstanding Motion Picture category and Anika Noni Rose (voice of Tiana) has been nominated as Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture for the 41st NAACP Image Awards. The awards presentation will air live February 26 at 8/7c on FOX.

The Princess and the Frog brings in $12.2 million its second weekend

In its second weekend of nationwide release The Princess and the Frog brought in an estimated $12.2 million, a 49.5% drop off from its opening weekend. The film finished second for the weekend behind Avatar which made $73 million. Thus far The Princess and the Frog has made $44.8 million.

Disney has released a short video clip with Anika Noni Rose, the voice of Princess Tiana in The Princess and the Frog, performing Way Down in New Orleans at Disneyland and talking about being in a Disney parade. The complete song will be broadcast on Christmas Day in the Disney Parks Christmas Parade.
