Disney Annual Meeting - Report 17 (Question and Answer, Wrap-Up)

Q --  I've been a Disney freak for years. I'm sorry I wasn't randomly picked to stay in Cinderella Castle. Iger you recently discussed Disney's successes on CNBC. Is there any credence to the article -- "the science of fairy tales"? Do you incorporate physics in the creation of your fairy tales?

Iger -- We use technology to make people's experiences better. By the way, we are making a Rapunzel movie.

Hannah Austin TX -- What are you doing to entertain younger pre-teens?

Iger -- We believe that while a number of the products we create are geared toward children we also recognize that a great deal of our products are aimed at a universal audience.

Andrea, Alburquerque, NM -- Received a share as graduation gift. Why is this meeting held here? Will Disney film in NM now that we have movie incentives?

Iger -- I'm not aware of anything at the moment. Comedic take on the presidential election Swing Vote which will not be a Disney labelled film will film in New Mexico.

Taylor  --  Will there be a Ratatouille 2?

Pepper -- I hope so. Iger -- At the moment we have not made any decision regarding a Ratatouille 2. Pixar is working on various films at this time -- Wall E and Toy Story 2.

Pepper -- Do you have a Remy toy at home? We'll get you one. We have a lot at my house. I'll send you one of mine.

Q -- Thank you for Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Its a wonderful program.

Wrap-Up -- It is energizing to hear the kind of comments you make. Reminds us of what we do and its impact. Regarding executive compensation I understand that these remarks were general concerns that about Mr. Iger directly. This company is very fortunate to have Disney CEO Iger. He is just what the doctor ordered. And before we leave please permit me a brief commercial -- Enchanted coming out on dvd and Blu-Ray.
