The National Air and Space Museum has received a Buzz Lightyear action figure that traveled in space along with educational material related to its mission. The Buzz Lightyear figure, lightened and sealed by NASA for spaceflight safety and weight concerns, flew into space aboard STS-124 on Discovery, and returned from space aboard STS-128, also aboard Discovery. In the meantime, the figure was used by the astronauts of ISS Expeditions 18, 19 and 20 to perform educational demonstrations—and, occasionally, to have a little fun on the side.
According to an article on BleedingCool.com Tom Hanks, the voice of Woody, said on the BBC this morning when asked about the possibility of a Toy Story 4, "I think there will be yeah. Yeah, yeah. They're working on it now. There you go."
Disney just announced at their 2011 Investor Conference that a second Toy Story short will be appearing in front of the upcoming Muppets movie. This is in addition to the Toy Story short Hawaiian Vacation that had been previously announced to show in front of Cars 2.

The US Postal Service announced "Send A Hello" a series of stamps featuring Pixar characters will be sold beginning August 19th. In recent years the USPS has offered various "Art of Disney" collections. These efforts were so successful the Postal Service was eager to work with the Walt Disney Company again, and chose to to explore the Disney*Pixar films with their contemporary characters and strong themes involving family and friends.
The "Send a Hello" pane of 20 stamps includes five different designs featuring Pixar characters: Lightning McQueen and Mater from Cars (2006); Remy the rat and Linguini from Ratatouille (2007); Buzz Lightyear and two of the green, three-eyed aliens from Toy Story (1995); Carl Fredricksen and Dug from Up (2009); and the robot WALL*E from WALL*E (2008)
Now through November 8, you can view "The Disney-Pixar Collection" including Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille and Wall-E on demand via your television provider or favorite digital retailer. These films along with Disney-Pixar's UP (which is not currently available on demand), will continue to be offered for download to own. Disney-Pixar also announces Toy Story 3 will be available for digital download beginning November 2.
Following the success of Disney's Storybook apps Disney Publishing Worldwide announces the creation of its first ever international versions of the “Toy Story” read-along app for iPad. Available in France, Germany, Italy and Spain, the “Toy Story” apps will each feature songs and movie clips in French, German, Italian and Spanish. The app will have special promotional pricing for a limited time at €2.99 through August 31st; pricing will then shift to €6.99. The Disney-Pixar feature film Toy Story 3 will launch in Europe throughout late July.

Pixar Story Supervisor Jason Katz (Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3) and LEGO Master Builder Erik Varszegi joined kids from the Hollywood Boys & Girls Club to assemble a one-of-a-kind mural in support of the Toy Story & Toy Story 2 release on Blu-ray™ (March 23). Kids from six different Boys & Girls Clubs across the US in regional markets each built a portion of the elaborate Toy Story mural out of LEGO® bricks, which were joined together for the first time in Los Angeles. Participating Cities included: Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, Denver and Los Angeles.
