Disney Channel Shows Among NAACP Image Award Nominees
Disney Channel's "Wizards of Waverly Place" is nominated for the NAACP Image Award in Outstanding Children's Program and actress Selena Gomez is nominated for Outstanding Performance in a Youth/Children's Program (Series/Special). Kenny Smith received a nomination for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy for "Pair of Kings" episode - Where the Wild Kings Are.
Several ABC programs and actors also received nominations.
The 42nd Annual NAACP Images Awards will air on March 4th at 8/7C on Fox.

Wizards of Waverly Place Returns Nov 12 for its 4th Season, Announces Additional Cast
Coming off its most-watched season to date Wizards of Waverly Place announces its fourth season will premiere Friday, November 12 on the Disney Channel with series stars Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T Austin, Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals-Barrera and David DeLuise. Joining the cast are Bailee Madison as Maxine, an adorable 10 year-old wizard while Gregg Sulkin will once again play Alex's love interest, Mason the werewolf.

Disney and Target today announce a new fashion line of apparel and accessories called “D-Signed,” available only at Target stores nationwide and Target.com on August 1st. Disney Consumer Products (DCP) collaborated with Target to deliver unique attire that can be mixed and matched for tween girls in sizes 4 to 16.
D-Signed is a departure from more general entertainment-inspired tween based clothing as these items do not portray the characters likeness, instead they’re inspired by their look and personality on the hit series—the items you would find in their closet. The fashion line and its mix-and-match versatility are featured in this new YouTube music video from Disney Living featuring Demi Lovato’s song “Me, Myself, and Time” and directed by filmmaker Ross Ching.
The first installment of D-Signed is inspired by the personal style of the Sonny Munroe character from Disney Channel’s popular television series Sonny With A Chance. Ranging from $4.99 - $19.99, the Sonny Munroe “D-Signed” collection includes: embellished graphic tees, skirts, dresses, pants, knit dresses, shorts, fashion tops and jackets, headbands, necklaces and bags.

Disney Channel Presents a Night of Premieres on Friday, January 15
A proven fan favorite -- a night of Disney Channel premieres with new episodes of "Wizards of Waverly Place," "The Suite Life On Deck," "I'm In The Band," and "Phineas and Ferb," will be presented FRIDAY, JANUARY 15 (8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
