The Coronado Springs is Disney's Southwestern themed moderate resort. It's beautiful setting surrounding a lake and its Dig Site pool make this a favorite for many in the moderate resort class.

Resort Layout
The Coronado Springs Resort consists of several buildings spread out around a lake. Some of the important locations are:

• El Centro: Check in/out, the restaurants, the shop, the marina and the arcade. Also connects to the Convention Center.
• The Dig Site: The main pool, kids pool, Jacuzzi, sand volleyball and a second arcade.
• Quiet Pools: Each group of buildings has its own quiet pool.
• Laundry Facilities: Each group of buildings has its own laundry facility
• Bus Stops: There is a bus stop at El Centro, Casitas and two at Ranchos.
• Health Club and Salon

There are 3 groups of buildings that contain the rooms - Casitas, Ranchos and Cabanas. Each building is a maximum of three floors tall. Your distance from the various Resort amenities will vary depending on the building you end up in. You can request a building at the time you make your reservation, but those requests are not guaranteed.

• Casitas Buildings (5 buildings): Close to El Centro and the Health Club and Salon. Across the lake from the Dig Site. Note: The buildings here are quite spread out some some are a fair distance from El Centro and some are fairly close to the Dig Site.
• Ranchos (2 buildings): Close to the Dig Site. Across the lake from the Dig Site. Furthest from the Health Club and Salon.
• Cabanas (2 buildings): Close to El Centro and the Dig Site.

Rooms

Typical room is 314 square feet. All Guest Rooms have two double beds or one king-size bed, table and chairs, vanity area with sink and a bathroom. Rooms for guests with disabilities and non-smoking rooms available. Sleeps up to 4 (plus one child under 3 in a Pak-n-Play crib)
