I wouldn't read too much into the 360° experience. You know who the theatre looks like and I hardly can imagine DLP putting money into reconfiguring the whole stage and auditorium. While I'm really open to see more Marvel stuff at DLP, I'm still very disappointed thet they hot rid of CineMagique. They should have gotten rid of the car stunt show and should have replaced it with a spectacular superhero show.

In an attempt to do some rebranding, Saudi Arabian Prince Alwaleed has been arrested
Saudi billionaire Alwaleed's arrest rattles investors

Of all the stories I've seen, none mention his connection to Disney. With TWDC's full acquisition of EuroDisney SCA, I assume he was bought out, likely with Disney stock to replace the ED stock. Even though TWDC is a much larger company, I have to think he would still be one of the single largest shareholders (at least outside of current/former executives)

Obviously it's tough to say what this means at the moment, either for Disney or Saudi Arabia, but it's something to keep an eye on

I'm glad to see that they're moving forward on the second entrance to the train station. That will do a lot to help with crowding at peak times, and having something on that plot of land will help finish off the main plaza area. My regular train station has a similar setup (end of the line, one entrance at the far end of the platform), and we could also use a second entrance to distribute the rushhour crowds

It's a nice detail that they changed the plants in the hub decorations to evergreens. I was surprised to see that they used real plants that had been spray painted silver and blue, but I guess it makes sense that the succulents wouldn't make it through the winter; it's great that they found a way to keep the plants real all year long. It looks the plants in the Town Square decorations are also tied in to the 25th anniversary designs

Very interesting. I'll be curious to see what ends up happening with that, since both parks already have a launch coaster, so it wouldn't really add anything brand new to either of them. It would probably fit better in WDSP, but I'm not sure it's the best option for what that park really needs; more non-thrill rides without height requirements would really help there

The idea of theming this to Captain America makes sense with the direction the park seems to be taking. I wonder if that is the theme where in WDSP it might end up?

Looks really nice! I especially like how they were able to incorporate the blue & white 25th anniversary aesthetics into the decorations for this year. DL took a similar approach with gold elements during their 50th, and it made it that much more special

I'm also impressed by the number of seasonal shows they add (though it would be great to see all those locations used throughout the year). Too bad they had to include the terrible Text Me Merry Christmas song that's in WDW's castle show in the daytime show at WDSP; it's one of the worst songs they've ever created

Is Starbuck finally coming to DLP?

Altjough I would mach rather see one of the many shops on MSUSA go instead of Market House Deli, I would be very happy about Starbucks.

I didn't think Starbucks was that big a deal in Paris. I would much rather have a Parisian cafe that served coffee with pan chocolate instead of an American conglomerate with mediocre coffee.

In personal DLP-related news, I just found out that I "won" the Berlin Marathon registration lottery and will be running next year's race, which is oh-so-conveniently the weekend before the DLP races. It's still very early, but I'm planning to link the two weekends together with some time in Amsterdam and/or Brussels, followed by a visit to Oktoberfest in Munich. I fully realize how ridiculous it is for me to keep doing the DLP races as an American, but I'm also really looking forward to getting to spend some more time there!

We're going to be leaving for Amsterdam in a couple of weeks for vacation. We're excited but also kicking ourselves for doing it at this time of year with the holidays.

Did I read that correctly, that they're removing the towers from Disney Village? Although they've been changed from their original use, they're the only thing that ties DV together visually. Without them the area will look even more like a random collection of buildings pressed up against each other. I wonder if they have bigger plans for an aesthetic redo for the area

I'm also impressed by the drawings for the Cinemagique theater, which show a full stage already in the building. Even though the original show only had minimal performer interactions, it looks like they were smart enough to build it as a full theater venue, which makes changes like this a lot easier (though I'm still not sure why it's taking them so long to launch a new stage show)

I think you've read correctly. Honestly it was about time to remove those ugly towers. I don't mind the different styles of the buildings, but I guess they have some plans for DV.

I'm a little bit disappointed with the new RER station. I expected a building to finally fill that area.

I'm not sure how I feel about losing the towers. They aren't exactly pretty, but they do add a sense of interest that sets the area apart. We'll see what they replace them with (if anything).

That's great news. I'm hoping to do the 5K again. I'm still not sure about the 10K as that's where things get a bit more grown-up! I see on facebook that people are booking rooms and bibs now so I thought about seeing what discount my AP will get. I gather Disney are getting tight on hotel discounts right now...
