Let's go for a ride... not just any ride, but, thanks to the hospitality of Captain Nemo, a Journey to the Center of the Earth.  He's gotten control of his obsession with the sea and extended his interest to the subterranean depths.  And, considering we're welcome guests at Mysterious Island, he also seems to have a handle on his distaste for society. (I can only imagine how much therapy that must have required.)
