By order of President Bush, American flags throughout the country (including Disneyland) will be at half staff for 30 days in honor of the death of President Ronald Reagan. Flags will be raised again on July 5th.

Disney's California Adventure park hosts The Golden Vine Wine Expo 2004 on Saturday, June 26, and Sunday, June 27, where attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy educational insights into the art of wine making; partake in wine-tasting demonstrations; sample some of California's finest varieties; plus meet many of the most prominent vintners in California. While this special event officially runs between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. for the general public, Annual Passholders and other premium Guests can get a jump on the fun and join us an hour early at 3:00 p.m. Ask for details when you purchase your tickets! Representatives share their enological know-how, including the technical specifics of wine production, the history of winemaking, foolproof ways to pair food and wine, and much more. Best of all, you'll taste the nectar of the California grape and get tips from the experts on how to truly savor each glass. Over 20 wineries will be represented, including Silverado Vineyards, MacMurray Ranch, Fess Parker Winery, Gallo of Sonoma, Chalone Vineyards, Sunstone Winery, and more. Tickets are $20 per person, per day, and will be available for purchase beginning Monday, June 14. Dining Pin #4 will be released on Sunday June 20th. The pin featured the Captain’s Galley (also known as Captain Hook's Pirate Ship, and as the "Chicken of the Sea" Restaurant) from the original Fantasyland. This is the fourth in a series of six 2004 Dining Pins. The pin is available exclusively to Annual Passholders beginning Sunday, June 20, 2004, while supplies last. One pin will be provided with each single food purchase of $20 (after tax and any applicable discount), at participating locations. Just present your valid Annual Passport at time of purchase to receive the pin. Participating restaurants include: Plaza Inn, Carnation Cafe, Rancho del Zocalo, French Market, Cafe Orleans, Blue Bayou; Ariel's Grotto, Pacific Wharf Café, Pizza Oom Mow Mow, Vineyard Room, Wine Country Trattoria, PCH Grill, Yamabuki, Goofy's Kitchen, Granville's Steak House and Storytellers Café.

The Annual Passport Processing Center has moved from Plaza Pavilion (which is undergoing a major rehab) to the Space Mountain photo location in Tomorrowland.

From June 1st through September 30th Annual Passholders can purchase 2-Day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Tickets for their friends and family for the special price of $79 for adults and $59 for children (3-9)

Merchandise Related Events

On June 17 Thomas Kinkade will continue his public painting of Sleeping Beauty Castle for the 50th on Main Street. Click here for additional info. 

On June 23rd the US Postal Service will hold an event to commemorative the release of "The Art of Disney - Friendship", a set of four commemorative stamps. Click here for additional details.

Bob Olzewski's second release in his Disneyland series can now be seen at Disneyana on Main Street. City Hall and Fire Station will be released on June 26th with a signing by Olzewski'. Click here for pictures and details.

Lenox will release the ornaments "Snow White's Sweetest Treat" and "A Sneezy Sort of Christmas" with a signing event at World of Disney on July 10th. Click here for details.

Marie Osmond will be returning to the Premiere Shop on July 24th to release her latest doll, "Adora Beau" Canoe Explorer Pin Trader doll. Details are available here.
