CHOC Walk in the Park Celebrates 25th Year

While Disneyland is still celebrating their Diamond Anniversary, the CHOC Walt in the Park is preparing for their Silver Anniversary! On Sunday, October 11th, the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) will hold their 25th annual Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort. Over the years, this fun and inspiring event has been CHOC’s largest fundraising effort with walkers raising millions of dollars for the hospital.

The 5K course will take participants through the Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure as well as backstage areas. However, this year those who cannot make the event can still donate by signing up as “Sleeping Bear.” Registered Sleeping Bears will still be able to receive a CHOC Walk in the Park T-shirt and will be eligible for prizes fundraising prizes.

For the first time, CHOC will also hold another special event the day before the walk dubbed the Ambassador’s Luau. Held in the Grand Ballroom of the Disneyland Hotel on Saturday, October 10, the Luau will feature a buffet dinner, character meet and greets, fun activities for children, live entertainment, and more.
