App Review — “Frozen Free Fall: Icy Shot”

Let it go, can’t hold it back anymore! Well, the ball that is.

Newly released from Disney is a great new mobile game app called Frozen Free Fall: Icy Shot. This is the second game in the Frozen series released by Disney and follows its popular predecessor, simply named Frozen Free Fall — a match-three puzzle type game.
Inherit Elsa’s powers to shoot out snowballs to dissolve pegs and complete missions such as knocking out certain colored pegs or even try to push jewels off ledges. With Anna and Elsa’s help, you’ll earn power-ups, additional snowballs, and even extra lives to extend gameplay.

I love a great mobile app game that I can play a couple rounds of and then revisit when time permits. The simplicity of the missions make it easy to stop and start without feeling like you need to revisit missions and story lines. This game is very familiar to the popular game Peggle that I was certainly hooked on, but what I enjoy about this version of the popular “knock out the ball” game is that it brings a new, refreshing take onto this certain game. For instance, there are more power-ups, more characters, and lots more variation on gameplay. The only small deterrent is that you can only play so many levels before you run out of lives and need to wait while your lives refill. This, of course, is something you can bypass if you choose to purchase more lives with real money, but for the individual looking for something to do for five minutes between tasks, this is a great game for you!

Frozen Free Fall: Icy Shot is available for download on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and the Amazon App store for free. Don’t miss out on what is sure to be one of your favorite go-to mobile games!

Lauren has been a Disney fan all her life. On her first birthday, she received a copy of the Disney Sing-a-long, Disneyland Fun, and ever since that, she's been hardcore in learning everything she can about the park. Another one of her favorite aspects is the food and she enjoys recreating those recipes to share with her friends and family. She also loves any craft that she can add a little bit of Disney magic or a hidden Mickey to make more magical.
