Marvel Gear + Goods Super Science Box Review

The second Marvel Gear + Goods crate just arrived and it features some fun ways to Marvel-ize your kitchen. The description from Marvel says “The greatest minds in the Marvel Universe have joined forces to enhance your culinary experiments with SUPER SCIENCE! Get your very own Marvel Originals Designed Only for Kitchens featuring Iron Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Spider-Man, the Totally Awesome Hulk and more!”

Black Panther Apron:

This dashing apron features Black Panther whose profile has been on the rise since his cinematic debut in Captain America: Civil War. The apron makes it appear that Black Panther is piloting the Wikanda Hulkbuster, and the Hulkbuster is you. The apron is of nice quality, but perhaps to nice to wear. However, the fact that it is black will help cover up most kitchen messes.

M.O.D.O.K. Ice Mold:

This Mobile Organism Designed Only for Kooling (Marvel fans will get it). This dishwater safe device will help make a M.O.D.O.K. looking ice cube. The only downside is who only wants one themed ice cube?

Super Science Plate Set:

This plate set features Iron Man, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, and the Totally Awesome Hulk (Amadeus Cho). Though listed as dessert plates, they could also be used for other functions. The plates are dishwater safe, but are not suitable for the microwave. I do like their distinctive art style.

Hank Pym Measuring Glass:

Who else would make a better mascot for measuring cups than Hank Pym who can shrink to the size of an ant or grow to the size of a giant. This cup is both microwave and dishwater safe.

Ultron Pin:

After his star turn in 2015, Ultron makes his return in the form of a pin. Not sure what this has to do with cooking, but it is a nice pin based on his comic book look. Not much more to say about it.

Overall the second box in this collection was a nice sophmore outing. I am looking forward to the Wolverine Messenger Bag that headlines next month’s Weapon X Box.
