Photo Update: The Dress Shop and a Walk Around Disney Springs

Disney Springs Water Tower

When spring is in full bloom, Disney Springs is a perfect place for an afternoon away from the parks and an evening of great dining options.

DisneyQuest and Cirque

With DisneyQuest closing in July and Cirque du Soleil La Nouba taking its final bow at the end of the year, who know what this view could look like next spring?

The Edison and Characters in Flight

One of the pieces of Disney Springs that I have been looking forward to, The Edison, has been delayed to “late 2017” from its spring date.

Moving away from the Landing area toward the Marketplace, Wine Bar George has had little work done since its announcement, but is still listed as a “Fall 2017” opening.

The Marketplace is still as classic Walt Disney World as you can get.

But, as with all things Walt Disney World, they “keep moving forward!”

Paddlefish and Boathouse Amphicar

Some of the other new things around Disney Springs include a new “The Bride Returns” WonderGround Gallery Vinylmation at Disney Pin Traders.

But the true talk of the town has been the opening of The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane in the Marketplace Co-Op.

The Dress Shop

These Disney Parks inspired dresses (Average price of $118.00 per dress) have been flying off the hangers since the shop opened last week, with some sizes not expected to be back in stock until June. Ranging from the Haunted Mansion and Orange Bird all the way to the more recent Tower of Terror, these dresses will be a must have for all you Dapper Day fans.

Looking toward the near future we have The Polite Pig “modern barbecue” restaurant opening on April 10th.
