Today we got our first look at the new transportation option coming to Walt Disney World — the Minnie Van. This new point to point option, as announced at last week’s Disney D23 Expo, will be launching very soon and amounts to Disney’s answer to Uber or Lyft.

The 2017 Chevy Traverse can transport up to six guests from and to anywhere on Disney property with a Disney Cast Member as your driver. Guest will also enjoy Disney music as they are transported is this stylish van. As opposed to other “vehicle request” services, the Minnie Vans even come with car seats at the ready for those little riders.

As the service is still in a test phase for a few more days, not all of the details were available. However, we were told that you will request the vehicles from an app (no word if My Disney Experience or a separate app) and there would be a flat rate of $20.00 from one point to another.

Guests will be able to choose from three bucket seats and one three seater bench seat. As mentioned, the driver will be a Disney Cast Member who can also help answer any questions you may have as you set off on your journey.

Final details are “to be announced” they did let us know it will not be a 24 hour a day service and will most likely start around 6:30 AM to get guests to those early morning character breakfasts. Service will likely conclude sometime after midnight, but they told us to keep our EARS open for a formal announcement.
