Three Fans Give Disneyland Opening Day Broadcast “MST3K”-Style Riffing

Last Sunday, Disneyland celebrated its 61st anniversary. While the resort itself celebrated with 61 characters in Town Square and a special moment to play Walt’s opening day dedication, three clever Disney fans marked the occasion in a similar but decidedly different fashion.

YouTubers Some Jerk With A Camera, Spazz Master and Doggans (their choices of names — not mine) recently released part one of a video entitled “Some Jerk RIFFS: Disneyland Opening Day Telecast.” After a hilarious intro that reminds us all of one of the most mind-boggling errors in cinema history, the trio rolls ABC’s original opening day broadcast from the park while inserting their witty commentary and jokes on top of it. Basically, imagine Mystery Science Theatre 3000 but with Disney geeks.

I will warn you, the video does contain some language and adult themes. But, if you can handle that, prepare to spend the next 25 minutes laughing:

Bring on part two!

UPDATE: Parts two and three have been released. Enjoy:
