The 41st Annual Annies

The 41st Annie Awards were handed out today, and Disney did very well.  Frozen won five awards including Best Animated Feature.  Its accompanying short, Get a Horse, won for Best Animated Short.  Monsters University received two technical awards while Disney disturbed The Wind Rises won an award for writing.  On the TV side, Sofia the First garnered the Annie for preschool television and the Halloween Special, Toy Story of Terror, received three awards.  Even Disney Interactive got some attention as it was recognized with three Annies.  And Disney’s ILM received the award for Animated Effects in a Live Action Production for their work on Pacific Rim.  It was a special night for Disney Legend Alice Davis, as she received the June Foray award.  Below is a complete list of Disney company recipients.
