3:52pm: ABC tweeted a picture of Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell together on the red carpet.  Idina voiced Elsa and Kristen voiced Anna in Disney Animation’s Frozen.  Idina is scheduled to perform the nominated song “Let It Go” during the broadcast.

4:07pm: Sidney Poitier led ABC’s official Red Carpet show.  Not many people remember, he served on The Walt Disney Company’s board from 1995 to 2003.

4:13pm: Frozen’s Kristin Bell tweeted a secret about her Oscar preparations.

4:22pm: An EW reported that a certain Oscar nominee may be Disney Bounding on the Red Carpet.

4:35pm: During Cate Blanchett’s interview on ABC, I spotted Bob Iger being interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel Live’s Guillermo.  It may be included in Jimmy Kimmel’s special After Oscars show tonight.

4:42pm: Apparently, Jennifer Lawrence channeling Frozen’s Anna has gone viral.  So the question is… who tripped better?

5:01pm: Tyson Beckford, a member of ABC’s red carpet team is getting roasted on Twitter for his lack of emotion.  Here are some examples:

 

5:17: Apparently, at the Disney Animation Oscar party there are some pretty cool cupcakes.

 

5:45: Jared Leto, from 30 Seconds to Mars, won Best Supporting Actor.  For those wondering.  This has nothing to do with one of the Horizons endings.

5:51: Jim Carrey introduced a montage of animated heroes featuring films like The Incredibles, Dumbo, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.  After the montage Oscar host Ellen Degeneres said, “Did anyone else feel that it was a little light on Finding Nemo”

6:04: Harrison Ford presents.  He does not make any comments on Star Wars or Indiana Jones, but the internet did find him a little sleepy.

 

6:13: “Get a Horse” loses the Animated Short race to “Mr Hublot”.  Tough loss for a great short.

6:17: Frozen wins for Best Animated Feature.  If you enter the codeword “Frozen” into Disney Movie Rewards, you will get 10 bonus points.

6:50:  The Great Beauty wins the Best Foreign Film Oscar.  Did you know that this Disney heroine starred in an Italian film?

6:56pm: The show reaches that middle part where it seems to drag.  But Iron Man has an idea on how to liven things up a bit.

7:08pm: Dory is going to have to work on her memory if she is expected to remember the names of all the stars in this tweet.

7:27pm: During her speech, the head of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences mentioned their building which is slated to open in 2017.  Disney’s Bob Iger is heading the fundraising effort for the museum.

7:33pm: Time for the Wizard of Oz tribute.  When Disney fans think of Oz and Oscar, they generally think of this man…

8:04pm: Still waiting for Idina’s performance.  Here she is talking to ABC7 on the red carpet.

8:12pm: Idina Menzel rocked Let it Go, but John Travolta mangled her name when he introduced her.  He are some tweets regarding that.

9:00pm: 12 Years a Slave wins Best Picture to end the night.  And we learn Michael Eisner can make Oscar picks.  He was 6 for 6 in the major categories.
