Steve has more details on the March 17th First Unofficial LaughingPlace EPCOT Scavenger and Trivia Event

Sorry for the long delay since my last article. As life does sometimes…it has gotten incredibly busy at my job and in my house. But springtime is here in Florida (its 80 degrees as I type this) and things are slowing down some, so I am working on a whole batch of new articles.

But now for the task at hand…The First UnOfficial LaughingPlace.com Scavenger Hunt.

Answer these questions:

  1. In what attraction would you find Prairie Dogs?
  2. Who wrote the song “Making Memories??
  3. Where exactly would you find the thing pictured below?

If you answered all or none of these questions correctly (Answers are at the end of this article) you are ready for the First UnOfficial Laughingplace Scavenger Hunt at EPCOT on March 17. “How do I sign up and play Steve?? I am glad you asked that question. Here is all the information you will need to play:

The Game
The Game is set up as a purely fun event. It will be helpful to have a good smattering of knowledge about EPCOT past and present. There will be several sections to the Hunt. Some sections will include: History, Name That Tune, Who Said This?, Technology, Sponsors, Park layout. There will be some items you will need to bring back with you. Teams should be made up of no more than four people. The game is set up into themed sections with each question worth points. Be accurate in your answers and read the directions.

The Rules
This event is an Unofficial LaughingPlace.com event. Doobie and Rebekah are in no way responsible. And since this is a fun event, neither are the creators and judges. This is also not a Disney sanctioned event (and it is spring break in FL). We are asking all participants to be courteous to other guests and especially Cast Members. Please do not bring books to answer questions. Do not run through the park and remember that you are a guest there and subject to WDW’s rules.

Prizes
Everyone will receive a beautiful LP.com button (pictured below). There will be prizes for the winning team. But don’t hock your life savings to get here. While the prizes are nice they aren’t worth selling the house or kids over.
