Can you identify these pictures from EPCOT?

Don’t worry. Neither could anyone else. These were just 2 of the ten photos that were part of our First Annual Unofficial LP Scavenger Hunt that took place at EPCOT on Sunday, March 17. We all had a great time, from those who put it together to those who participated. (The first picture is of the map outside Journey into Imagination. The second is in the art gallery of Mexico)

See how you would have fared. Here are some sample questions:

  1. What show was the predecessor of Illuminations?
  2. How long is the walkway around World Showcase Lagoon?
  3. At the Living Seas who created the Jason robot?
  4. What is different about the Garden Grill restaurant during lunch than dinner?
  5. What song contains these lyrics: “It’s land ho, me hearties at last we’ve arrived??
  6. What is the circular part of the Temple of Heaven called in China?
  7. What audio animatronic figure did something that no other figure had done before at the American Adventure?
  8. Impressions de France unloads into a replica of what famous landmark?
  9. How long is O Canada?
  10. What is the most expensive item on the Living Seas menu?

These are just 10 of the over 200 questions that appeared in the 18 pages of the Scavenger Hunt/Trivia Game. We also had a matching column section to match the sponsor with the attraction, over 13 song questions and a chance to match international sodas to their countries.

The over 90 degree heat did not dissuade our players to enjoy the day. I think some even stopped by the United Kingdom to enjoy St. Patrick’s day. We even had a special appearance by the Witches of Morva and their dear friend Riverted. The winners won a CD and a Fab Five Hatbox Pin and the opportunity to play again next year.
