It's Not Easy Havin' Green
Well it looks like the Muppets and Disney have finally joined forces. Can we get a big, "It's about time!" Anyway, this is an exciting move with many possibilites. We could soon have Muppet Mini Golf, or the Hapiness Hotel or. . .wait a second. I think I may understand now, the reason behind the timing of all this. Sure it all makes sense. Disney's California Adventure has had some trouble finding an audience and there's a big event coming up May 5th for the opening of Tower of Terror, so what better time than then to announce the big plan. What plan? You know, the big plan. The plan to change Disney's Calfornia Adventure into . . .the Muppets Adventure. Just think about it:

Rainbow Connection: Replacing the Sunshine Plaza this multicolored area showcases the bright and sunny aspects of Henson productions. A huge Kermit head fountain stands where the sun icon used to be. Every 15 minutes the fountains come alive in orchestrated color and sound to famous Muppet songs.

Area 51: Formerly Condor Flats, this land takes guests through a futuristic spaceport with some bizzare characters. The main attraction is Pigs in Space: The Ultimate Experience. Guests board SwineShuttle prototypes and experience a breathtaking adventure through outer space.

The Middle of Nowhere: Here guests can ride The Bear in the Big Blue House Visits Northern California and Shoots the Rapids, or as internet fans like to call it, TBitBBHVNCaStR. There's a legend that every year bears from all over the country come together for a "magical gathering." Passengers board blue rafts and travel down a river and come to face to face with many bears, including Bear himself. Wait, I'm not sure if that's clear. I mean Bear in the Big Blue House. But wait, he's not in the house, he's outside. So it's Bear in the Big Blue House from the TV Show Bear in the Big Blue House but he's not in a big blue house, Bear in the Big Blue House is outside. Got it? Next door children of all ages can play in Fozzie's Natural Habitat. The playground includes ropes, slides, rock climbing and a Studebaker.

The Big City: San Fransisco is no more, with a replica of the Big Apple taking it's place. At the Hamsterdam  Theater guests may view a live production of Manhattan Melodies. Beaureguard's Taxi Company replaces Mulholland Madness. At Pete's Pizzaria, diners watch as rats prepare their food.Rockin' Bay Paradise Pier is now the home of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. Screamin' takes guests on a high-energy roller coaster ride with the added soundtrack of songs such as "Can You Picture That" and "Nightlife." Maliboomer is now Pitch Bender a ride that screeches guitar sounds as you catapult up and down.

Lady Holiday's Estate: Formerly the Golden Vine Winery, Lady Holiday's Estate gives guests a taste for a snobby lifestyle. In the theater, you may view Fashion Does and Don'ts hosted by Lady Holiday. Of course the show gets interrupted by her somewhat clumsy assistant Miss Piggy. At the very top is the great restaurant, the Dubony Club, well actually it's more of a supper club than a restaurant

A Bug's Land is now Fraggle Rock, home to the Fraggles of course.

Pacific Wharf: Kept the name, but now has a large ship planted in it's harbor. Hear you can catch a live show of Muppet Treasure Island and there are soon plans of adding a dark ride on the now Timon parking lot.

Hollywood: Still Hollywood. At Muppetation, learn how Henson comes up with the fabulous puppets and puppetronics used in their productions. Superstar Limo takes guests on a wacky ride through a Muppet inspired California. MuppetVision 3D has been replaced by Mickey's Philharmagic (I know, it didn't make any sense to me either).

There are some talks of adding a Labyrinth area soon. Sounds fantastic!
