Welcome to the November 5, 2001 Disneyland Resort Update. Features in this update is testing of LuminAria, the new nighttime show at Disney's California Adventure opening on November 9th. Holiday decorations all over the Disneyland Resort are also included along with the new Disneyland Resort Ambassador, the final Steps in Time and Animazement, Believe in Holiday Magic and much, much more!

LuminAria Testing - Page 1
Two Important Warnings:

  1. Obviously, spoilers are contained in these pictures. If you'd like to skip them, click to go to Page 5.
  2. Not only has LuminAria not officially opened (that's on November 9th), it hasn't even begun previews. This pictures were taken from outside the park during a test run of the show. Undoubtedly certain elements weren't included and others may not have been running to full effect, so please keep that in mind when viewing the pictures.

LuminAria officially opens November 9th. However hotel guests have been treated to a sneak peek during testing. The next four pages offer pictures of LuminAria as viewed from the Grand Californian hotel. The pictures are shown in no particular order.
