On a lovely Sunday night, in the chilly darkness of an old mansion, I came to meet the newest guest up in the attic. Actually, the new haunt is a sexed up remix of an old venerable favorite.
The attic has been redecorated to celebrate the loves, and losses, of Constance (Gracey?). Throughout the cluttered space are stacks of wedding presents, photo albums and moldering matrimonial bric-a-brac. Also are portraits of Constance and her four husbands. As we move by each portrait, the head of the groom disappears.
We are finally brought up to the visage of the new bride. Constance herself is floating in a corner of the attic, reciting her marriage vows. But now the nuptials have a sinister intent as she brings up a hatchet and smiles meanly.
