In California the Walt Disney Company opened two locations where small children and their parents could play and learn together. These were called Club Disney. The two locations were located in Thousand Oaks and West Covina, California. They had have seven exclusive Mini Bean Bag Plush. The first was Merlin the Magician from Sword and the Stone, the second was Club Disney Mickey and Minnie and the third were three fish from The Little Mermaid. There was also a Bumble Bee from Winnie the Pooh (only at the Thousand Oaks location). Unfortunately they closed both locations in 1999.

Walt Disney World has its own bunch of Mini Bean Bag Plush. They consist of bugs, including a beautiful butterfly and the very desired tree frog with its neon colors and sleek design. Also available in summer time, Walt Disney World and Disneyland have had Graduation Mickey and Winnie the Pooh.

There are many variations and test market versions. For example Sebastian the Crab originally came with stitching down the back of his shell which they quickly corrected, and Flounder the Fish from The Little Mermaid which was made too large and later reduced in size. There were also many variation. The Alien from Toy Story had stitched eyes, stick on eyes, and the rare glued on eyes. Bashful from Snow White came with eyes looking to his left instead of both eyes forward. This made it very rare and desired by collectors. Chip 'n Dale were made with their names printed on them, but some were made omitting the names which had people scrambling to get this rare variation. Some even had the names reversed. One of the rarest variations was Goofy with no spots on him, less than a thousand are known to exist.

Summer of 2001 is here and we can all get our new Atlantis Mini Bean Bag Plush, and of course the 4th of July so there is Mickey, Donald and Goofy dressed up in their Sprit of 1776 outfits just waiting for you. In the very near future we have Monsters Inc. Disney Mini Bean Plush to look forward to, too.

The Disney Mini Bean Plush have been around for almost 6 years, and I know there are many people who adore and love them, and I am sure they will be around for years to come!
