After the third set of speakers all three groups convened at the Disney Gallery. The attendees were lucky to be among the first to view the spectacular Ryman-Carroll foundation exhibit. Almost immediately upon entry eager guests were shopping, schmoozing, and scrutinizing everything.
There are three rooms in the exhibit. The entry room houses a few of the amazing works Ryman did for the Disney Company. In addition to the great paintings everyone knows Ryman for, I also enjoyed looking at some of his the lessor known works, including some of EPCOT and Tokyo Disneyland.
Veer to the right side of the gallery, the second room showcases some of Ryman's work from outside the realm of Disney. I was particularly intrigued by his circus art. The exhibit is also fortunate to have Ryman's personal easel for the exhibit.
The third room is home to tribute paintings from the brushes of Herb Ryman's friends, students, and beneficiaries of the scholarship program. Nearly all the works in this room are for sale with profits going to the foundation.
Other merchandise benefits the foundation as well. Although these pieces are initially available only to event participants, they will be sold to the public after the Oct 7th tour.

Club 33 merchandise was also made available to event attendees. A shopping list was provided and orders were taking during the exhibit viewing portion of the day. Unfortunately, this moved slowly as Club 33 merchandise was not available for purchase through the Disney Gallery point of sale systems. Instead merchandise managers were stuck shuttling packages between the club and the gallery. Some attendees waited up to 2 hours for their requests to be filled. The managers I spoke with made it clear this would be fixed by the next tour.
Guest speakers expected at future tours include: Sam McKim, John Hench, Blaine Gibson, Bob Gurr, and Rolly Crump.
