Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Avec Aerosmith
Stop Press: this attraction is a distinct improvement over the original. The theme is more appropriate to a Studios theme park and the effects in the show building are disorientating and mesmerising.

I had always thought that the story behind the Floridian attraction was inappropriate for a Studios park. I have always enjoyed the attraction but have never grasped how a speeding limo trying to whisk guests to an Aerosmith concert in L.A. was the right theme for MGM and also how the modern G-Force Records building was an appropriate addition to the 40s inspired Sunset Boulevard section of the Studios. At Paris, guests are invited to take part in the production of the latest Aerosmith video being filmed on the Back Lot.

The outside of the building consists of multi-layered two dimensional cut-outs with strobe lighting. The FastPass kiosks are located immediately below the fascia with the entrance to the right of the first show building. A further sign reveals that this attraction is the home to Tour de Force Records (an in-joke and homage to both the original and the location of WDSP). A neat new addition is the tour bus of Aerosmith sitting patiently idle close to the ride exit. The queue area itself is very similar to that of its American counterpart in structure, if not content. Gone are the band posters in the Studio entrance, replaced by signed guitars from bands such as U2. Again, the second queue room is similar to that in MGM, although the history of recording media is, ah, history, replaced by gold and platinum records from current recording artists. Another European addition is that of numerous tour posters from famous European venues like Wembley Stadium in London and the Nou Camp in Barcelona. The false doors leading to other recording studios can still be found.
