Main Street itself has been dressed for the occasion, with strings of bunting suspended across the street from the rooftops. Brass musical instruments twist around the gas and electric streetlamps, bursting with bananas from their apertures. Even some of the Main Street stores, such as the Emporium have joined in the festive spirit, with windows commemorating the first carnival season. One room of the Emporium has been decorated to enhance the celebration.

The focus of the Carnival is Central Plaza. This huge expanse of land at the heart of the Parisian Magic Kingdom has long been under utilised by the park. In recent years, a stage was erected for the 10 th Birthday party and a huge artificial Christmas tree, which guests could walk through have occupied the space where the Partners statue can be found in the U.S. counterparts. For the Jungle Book Carnival, a huge covered stage occupies the space, with an elevated dance floor. Images of Mowgli, Bagheera, Baloo, King Louie and Shere Khan decorate the foundations.
