Spring Time at the Disneyland Resort Paris - Part One

Several years ago, DLRP premiered the successful Toon Circus concept that was vastly entertaining and very popular with park guests. The Jungle Book Carnival lacks any coherency and feels distinctly disjointed. I arrived at the resort expecting to experience a show, similar in scope and scale to the retired Toon Circus parade. This was not the case, with only one vehicle and no particular story, this show was decidedly tepid in its presentation, although the sub-zero and snowy conditions could not have helped. The celebration needed a more significant focus, either in the form of a parade or a more elaborate stage show. Neither were presented this year, but no doubt if the season returns next year, as Disney Entertainment hope, it will expand. The timing is also somewhat perplexing, as the carnival is only scheduled to run for five weeks, climaxing on March 9. With Easter appearing late in April this year, I would have expected a more substantial celebration before the arrival of the peak season in April.
