What with all the senior year rights of passage it tries to juggle, Senior Year does take awhile to find its own rhythm. And the attempts to introduce new, younger characters into the mix (played by Matt Prokop, Jemma McKenzie-Brown and Justin Martin, who are no Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu) to possibly carry on the franchise in the future are not only forced and uninspired, they also leave little screen time for some of the series minor (yet memorable) characters; in other words, if you are fans of the crme brulee-making Zeke (Chris Warren Jr.), the sassy Martha (KayCee Stroh) and the dim Jason (Ryne Sanborn), youll be disappointed with this one.

Yet, when all is said and done, and the curtain finally falls on East High graduation day, Senior Year provides an entertaining and fittingly bittersweet end to the HSM saga. Lets just hope that Disney will leave it at that.
