#6 - A BUGS LIFE
Disney Blu-ray

The often-overlooked entry in the Pixar library once again showed how good it truly is with a new Blu-ray edition, proving you should never underestimate the little guy and his millions of like-sized friends.

#7 - ZORRO: THE COMPLETE FIRST AND SECOND SEASONS
Walt Disney Treasures DVDs

2009s entries in the indispensable Walt Disney Treasures line were devoted exclusively to the sword-slashing, whip-cracking exploits of the legendary masked avenger of the night, a rousing action series that has easily stood the test of time.

#8 - PREP & LANDING
Walt Disney Pictures

Disney unveiled a special surprise for Christmas this year with this utterly charming and very funny elfin frolic that is sure to become a Yuletide favorite for holiday seasons to come. So tinsel.

#9 - MONSTERS, INC.
Disney Blu-ray

Up and A Bugs Life werent the only Pixar classics making their Blu-ray debuts in 2009. After all, how else to watch the story of a big blue monster? Monstropolis never looked better.

#10 - TINKER BELL AND THE LOST TREASURE
Disney Blu-ray

The worlds most famous fairy returned for her second solo adventure, a Pixie Dust-ed journey beyond Pixie Hollow and back in search of not only a magic mirror, but the true meaning of friendship as well.

Honorable Mention:

CORALINE

2009 was a banner year for feature animation, Disney and otherwise, and one of the best of the rest was this, Henry Selicks creepy cool dark bedtime story (based on the book by Neil Gaiman) about a precocious girl and her daring visits to an other land.
