A Change for the Worse: Toy Story the Musical

I love, love, love this show on the Disney Wonder. In fact, its the only show on the Disney ships that I love. To me, Disney Dreams and Golden Mickeys are good while Twice Charmed is somewhere between OK and not so good. I had hoped Disney would see fit to put Toy Story the Musical on the Disney Dream. Instead we got two completely new shows - Disneys Believe which is another good show in the vein of Disney Dreams. And Villains Tonight, probably the worst major stage production Ive personally seen come out of Disney (and that includes Snow White: An Enchanting New Musical at Disneyland). And whats worse its now made its way onto the Disney Magic, too. No love for Toy Story the Musical, my single favorite thing ever to come out of Pixar.

A Change for the Better: Nursery

Another afterthought on the original ships was the nursery for children under 3. I didnt find out until my last cruise that they werent a part of the original plan but that would explain their relatively simple themeing. But the Cast Members there are wonderful and our son stayed there many times. Happily, once again, they got it right from the start on the Dream with Its a Small World nursery. From the moment he saw the boat in the waiting area, he was hooked and being themed to his favorite right (at the time, anyway) made it all the better. And the best part? Same great Cast Members.
