Beaches and Cream

Ive got a bias here - this is my favorite restaurant in all of Walt Disney World. And it certainly has its downsides - its very small (around 15 tables plus counter seating), they dont take reservations so youre often in for a wait, and the menu is very limited. But dont let any of that get in the way of the fun. The counter seating is a fun change of pace and kids (and I) enjoy watching the burgers get grilled and the sundaes get made. Its got a great diner feel complete with a free working jukebox. In a (Disney) world full of yummy but often foo-foo desserts its great to be at a place where straight-forward ice cream sundaes are the stars. And if youve got a group, you wont want to miss the highlight of any Beaches and Cream visit, the Kitchen Sink. As the server says as they present it to you 8 scoops of ice cream, every topping in the house and a whole can of whipped cream!. Its huge, its yummy, and for a group that were all going to get dessert anyway, its actually a great value.
