Five Things I Miss About Disneyland

It's a Local’s Park
In 2001 Disneyland expanded with the additions of DCA, Downtown Disney and the Grand Californian making it more of a resort. But despite that, Disneyland still relies on the locals making their annual pilgrimage, and their Annual Passholders to turn the turnstiles. And because you cant build a new blockbuster attraction every season, Disneyland relies on other, smaller changes to give the locals something new to see. So you get Haunted Mansion Holiday and Its a Small World Holiday and you get more frequent entertainment changes and smaller events like HalloweenTime and the new Three Kings Day celebration. And while I like the Food & Wine Festival, Flower & Garden, Star Wars Weekends and the rest - as a local I miss having something new seemingly always coming down the pipe rather than the next year of the same thing.
