My entree of Ginger Teriyaki Crusted Yellow Fin Tuna with bok choy, soybeans, ginger-sesame scented rice noodles, ponzu glaze. The dish was tasty although unevenly seasoned, at times too salty. But when eaten with the bok choy and rice noodles it was balanced out.

My husband, Doobie's Farro Stew (vegetarian entree) of garlic roasted green beans, shallots, hazelnuts and shredded red radishes was a pleasant surprise. We later learned it was well received a various other tables as well.

Everyone at our table loved their dessert. Gideon had chocolate ice cream, while my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our warm chocolate lava cake. At each of our dinners a "sampler" dessert entitled Sweet Temptations was offered. Tonight's featured amaretto cheesecake,  banana creme brulee and apple pie. Doobie ordered this and enjoyed the creme brulee the most.

Now it was showtime. The enchanted brooms bring out a large stack of drawings. As the familiar melody of Dukas' Sorcerer's Apprentice (featured in Fantasia) filled the air, Mickey raises his arms  and our drawings jump off the stack and come to life. The energy in the room was electric as guest after guest recognized their simple sketch marching on screen. While Animator's Palate is a large dining room it has been designed so that each table has a good view of at least one viewscreen. In our case there were three different viewscreens where we could see our drawings. And our viewscreens only featured drawings from those tables in our area while the screens on the other sides of the restaurants featured the characters from guests seated in their vicinity.
