Animation historian and critic Charles Solomon chronicles the production of Disney’s beloved “Beauty and the Beast” the first hand-drawn animated feature ever to be nominated for Best Picture  in “Tale as Old as Time”. Jim Hill showcases portions of ”Tale as Old as Time: The Art and Making of Beauty and the Beast” (Disney Editions, August 2010) labelling it the definitive account of how the film actually came to be.
