DreamWorks Animation’s AwesomenessTV has hired former Disney Store President Jim Felding as to oversee their consumer products and retail strategy. AwesomenessTV was purchased by DreamWorks Animation and is a YouTube video producer. Jim Felding was head of the Disney Store’s during their redesign. He led the stores for four years. He left to run the Claire’s retail chain, which he led for two year until he resigned last week.
AwesomenessTV founder and CEO Brian Robbins said, “Jim is a true visionary in the retail industry and, as former CEO of Claire’s, he brings a unique perspective on our target teen audience.”
Michael Francis, DreamWorks Animation’s chief global branding officer said, “I’m thrilled to have Jim on board as part of our larger global (consumer products) organization. Jim is uniquely suited to position AwesomenessTV’s product and retail business on a fast track to success.”
