The Wrap has the latest casting news from the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, Descendants. Newcomer Sofia Carson has been cast as Evvie, the daughter of the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Carson is currently attending UCLA, but has previously guest starred on Disney Channel’s Austin & Ally.
The film will premiere on Disney Channel in 2015 and is being directed by Kenny Ortega from the High School Musical franchise.
