EW is reporting that ABC will air The ABC’s of Schoolhouse Rock on Sunday, September 7 at 7/6c. The special, hosted by Grey’s Anatomy‘s Chandra Wilson will feature interviews with the creators and writers of the Emmy-winning series. The special will also try to select the number one Schoolhouse Rock song of all-time.
Disney Fun Fact: Schoolhouse Rock was originally approved by Michael Eisner who was VP of ABC’s children’s programming at the time. He would later go on to become CEO of The Walt Disney Company and lead the effort to purchase his former employer which was still airing the series he green-lit.
