Ousted Secret Service Head Pierson Wanted the Agency to be More Like Disney World

In a critical report from the Washington Post, the paper reports that the ousted Secret Service Director Julia Pierson wanted the agency to be more like Walt Disney World:

 Supervisors who had mapped out the security plan said they were taken aback when Pierson, who worked during high school at Walt Disney World as a costumed character and park attendant, said: “We need to be more like Disney World. We need to be more friendly, inviting.”

 The former Cast Member resigned as head of the agency charged with protecting the President of the United States following several incidents that revealed that the agency is struggling in fulfilling its mission.
