EW reports indicate that John Ridley, the man behind the Oscar-winning 12 Years a Slave and ABC’s American Crime, is developing a Marvel series for ABC.
The details of the project are unknown but it is described as a reinvention of an existing Marvel superhero character or property.
Ridley’s American Crime is not performing well for ABC, but ABC head Paul Lee wants to remain in business with the Oscar winning producer.
